So, let's see....what's been going on? Jeff gathered up some help (thanks Nick, Kyle A. and Kyle S.) and completely redid our backyard. What used to be a swampy mess is now an awesome paved patio and hopefully soon some nice landscape as well. The boys all worked over the course of about 3-4 weekends digging up all the old grass, digging a six inch deep hole that pretty much took up our entire back yard and then laying over 150 pavers to create our new patio. We still need to landscape around the sides, but to those who knew our backyard previously, this is a GREAT improvement (pics to come soon when it's all finished). Hopefully in the next couple of weeks, we'll have a completed space to enjoy the rest of the summer!
We recently got back from a family trip to Las Vegas. It was a fantastic time and Jeff and I both needed the vacation. We stayed at MGM Grand, which had a fantastic pool, but I probably wouldn't ever feel the need to stay there again. I love staying in the center of the strip where everything is. We just felt kind of out of the way all the way down there. We are now trying to think of where we want to stay for our next trip there. Jeff turn's the big 3-0 next August and we want to go down to Vegas with a big group of us. I'd like to semi-splurge and stay somewhere nice and has a nice pool....so, if anyone has any ideas shooot them my way! :)

Other than staying busy at work and at home not much else has been going on. I promise to stay more up to date on this thing from now on :)
